Concept:

‘Wabi-Sabi’ a Japanese philosophy which embraces a way of living deeply rooted in nature, finding beauty and purpose in natural imperfection and in the lifecycle of anything as it is with its flaws and all. Nature and authenticity have no rules, here the concept of ‘The Lake House’ is all about nature’s rules. The color palette embraces earthy tones, neutral whites and grey, while materials like weathered wood, rough textures, and handcrafted ceramics added depth and authenticity. Leathered seating, cane made sparse furnishings and ecofriendly jute rugs create an uncluttered, tranquil space. Décor elements include Wabi-Sabi artifacts, wicker baskets, and some occasional pop of color through pillows, reflects the Wabi-Sabi design philosophy. Soft, warm lighting fixtures and the interior environment that fosters an indoor¬-outdoor connection complete the concept, inviting mindfulness, serenity and a deeper connection to the ever-changing world into the home.
